So, I got my second Birchbox in the mail today, and to be honest I wasn’t completely thrilled with it, like I was the first one. There is only one thing that I’m looking forward to trying. Everything else was just blah. I honestly don’t feel like this box was created according to the profile that I created.
Here’s what I got:
Mighty Leaf Tea Samples – “Swap your afternoon latte for these yummy tea blends, made from natural, ethically sourced ingredients.”
Green Tea Tropical, Chamomile Citrus, Vanilla Bean
21 Drops Focus Aromatherapy Blend – “Stay Sharp with this mind – clearing blend of rosemary and peppermint essential oils. Apply to pulse points and breathe deep.”
Twistband Birchbox Custom Lace Hair Tie – ” Designers went gaga for lace this season and we don’t blame them. Get on board with these ouch-free ties.”
Nexxus Pro-Mend Split End Therapy System – “Infused with coconut oil and amino acids, this shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in treatment work together to fix unsightly spilt ends.”
Color Club Birchbox Custom Polish color in “Status Update” – “We teamed up with Color Club to create this custom shade, inspired by the Fall 2012 collections.”
Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator – “This Exfoliating cleanser uses professional-grade microderm crystals and papaya enzymes to brighten dull skin.”
It also came with “Birchbox Digital Download” for Tristan Prettyman. I’m not sure who that is, but I’m willing to download it and give it a listen, and it came with a $25 off of your purchase of $75 or more” for Madewell.
The only item I’m looking really forward to trying is the Vasanti Brighten Up!, oh and the Mighty Leaf Tea since I love tea! I was pretty disappointed with the Twistband, from what I saw on the website, I thought that it was a headband (which I would have liked), not a hair tie.
What did you get in your box? Do you think that this would be something you would be interested in?
Also, I will be doing a giveaway soon with Kim from Fashion Beauty and Life, will be posting details about it soon!
